Apply as a new customer. If your social security number matches your current profile, it will alert us to link both profiles.
What is a micro/test deposit and withdrawal verification process?
With the test deposit method of account verification, Beal Bank USA will make two small test deposits of less than $1.00 into the bank account you provide. When the deposits appear in your bank account (generally within 5-7 business days not including weekends or holidays), you must return to BealBankUSA.com to verify the deposit amounts. The Bank will also withdraw these deposits in the exact same amounts to balance your account back out.
What do I do if the micro/test deposits keep failing? Or if I’m not receiving them in the first place?
If the account you are withdrawing the funds from is a money market, select “Checking” on “Type of Account” during our application process. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact us at 877-TRY-BEAL (877-879-2325)..
I never received an email with a link to finalize my application—what should I do?

Certificates of Deposit
What type of accounts do you offer?
We offer 3 to 60-month Certificates of Deposit available to open online. We also offer additional savings products (money market, statement savings, and IRA CDs) in our retail branch locations.
What is APY?
APY, or annual percentage yield, is the amount of interest earned in one year expressed as a percentage rate on an account. It is based on the interest rate and the frequency of the compounding and assumes interest remains in the account for the duration of the term.
What ownership categories are available for CD accounts?
Our online accounts may be opened as a Single-Party Account Without "P.O.D" (Payable on Death) Designation or as a Multiple-Party Account With Right of Survivorship.
What is the minimum deposit for a CD?
For all terms, a minimum balance of $25,000 is required to open an account online and a minimum balance of $1,000 for accounts opened in a branch to obtain the annual percentage yield. We may treat any withdrawal that would reduce the balance remaining in the account below the required minimum balance as a withdrawal of the entire account balance and calculate the amount of the penalty accordingly.
You may not make additional deposits into your account until the maturity date.
***Additional Terms: We reserve the right to limit your aggregate deposit balances to $1,000,000 per taxpayer identification number.
What happens when my CD matures?
We will notify you before the maturity date. You’ll have a 10-day grace period starting on your maturity date. For security and confidentiality, maturity instructions must be submitted in person, by mail or by logging into your Online Banking profile. Once you are logged in, send us a message/request to choose:
renew as is
add funds
withdraw funds
close the account
For your convenience, if you do not wish to respond, your CD will automatically renew for the same term, at the current rate we offer for that term.
Can I ACH my funds back at Maturity?
Funds may be distributed via check to the original funding account or by check to your address of record, free of charge, or we can wire the funds for a $15 fee. For the wire, we will need your external institution’s specific wiring instructions (including routing and account number), along with a completed Funds Transfer Services Agreement.
